i download the software but dun hv the name n key!i can\'t use it!

Trial Run Firstly I use works EMAIL rather thatn home email to cover internet links - makes for better security etc.I downloaded your software to review it for a home based method of checking on pet cat and home security to garden during the day. Not quite what I wanted - as i needed to output section of AVI rather thatn still photographs. Even your series of snapshots is cumbersome. Especially as conversion only goes to .MOV.Probably will still look around for other WEBCam software.

Good Product I'm happy with your product, but not ready to purchase. I downloaded it because I travel a lot, and I'd like to know what the "cleaning-lady" is doing while I'm out. I haven't been able to test it the way I want to, yet. Can it run while the laptop is locked/pasword protected? I also had a problem with my "motion detection" staying at 900+ with no movment on the screen. (no movement I could see) I rated "ease of use" at only good because of (maybe it's my camera's fault, but) the motion detection staying at 900+. I can't adjust ...

anon anon anon Could well do with some more special effects similar to Adobe Premier, but otherwise it's a neat little programme with little to be critical about - works well with no drama, big change. Reminds me of similar progs for the old 8/16 bit computers many years ago.

i uninstalled it becuase i was tired of the little box coming up in the middle iof everything when i used my webcam period, even if i didnt want to use the webcamamp

Not bad, but not for me The software was close to what I was looking for, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. Lots of nice effects and graphics to use though. I am a Vista user (Against my will!!!) and it seemed to install fine first attempt.

The interface was bad I messed around with this program for a short while, but the interface was done in 80's skate colors and was very confusing to figure out (if something had a slight glow, it meant it was on). I couldn't get the effects they had turn on automatically to shut off. I got discouraged very quickly and quit.

Too flashy The program was packed with features, but it was just way too flashy and hard to see. It should be more obvious when a certain feature is selected (all of the boxes are random colours and it's just all over the place). The features are great really but it's just too much I think... I'd like it simpled down a bit.

webcam amp review needs more features like a playlist for file serving and the ability to loop. Otherwise is a great products that works well and easy.

i love webcamamp ive been using webcamamp for about 2 months, i ended up purchasing it after a week or so of trying it out. it has made my webcamming experience alot more flexible and has alot of features. seems like every week new features are being added. i need to promote my website when im on cam, and i definitely am seeing more hits now. so it was definitely worth the money

iSpy is a very good program. I did have a problem getting ver 2.0.3.0. At this time, I do not want to use the internet database but I wanted the latest ver. of the local network program.

Vista Incompatibility I have tried to install oRipa MSN Webcam Recorder, but it does not work under Vista Ultimate.It fails to create the recorder, and then the application's control appears, but does nothing - obviously because there is no recorder app for it to control.I have no idea if oRipa will correct thisproblem, but I hope so, as the previous version that I ran on my XP machine was pretty good.The best feature being that it is NOT a screen image recorder, but actually captures the streaming webcam data itself, meaning that recording can go on in the background ...

Decent first use, not enough trial time Decent results after I figured out how to get past the trial information screens. There was not enough time (60 seconds) in trial version to properly evaluate the software or explore it's features.I'm not sure that my anticipated amount of usage would justify the cost.It looks like a pretty cool toy though.

It worked fine for my 2 applications that need to run together.They were:1. Using WebCamXP to make the camera stream available on the internet.2. Using my own OpenCV program to analyse the video stream and calculate the optical flow.It would be nice if WebSplitter Pro could also do the job that WebCamXP is doing for me, so that I need fewer 3rd party components.

Trying to solve a problem I have a dv6573cl hp laptop that has quick play on it with windows vista ultimate os. The laptop has a built in webcam, and this is the problem. If I restart the computer and click on Quick play the webcam works. If I start msn live instant messenger and chose webcam splitter the camera works but there is no way to chose the camera for quick play and once you use it in another program the hpwebcam can not be used without a restart. If I can figure out how use webcam splitter to run the hpwebcam in ...

web splitting issues for me i cannot use the web splitter to split my webacam in 4 windows ,it says there is an errotr,yet it shows onn one,and stills of screens or files on others,.also i cannot make the pictures bigger and when you select ia better resolution it sti ll atays the same size.i am not happy about this.what am u doing wrong,my webcam is very good logiteck face tracking tyoe 240 odd dollars aust.yetr i vcnnot split.?

Webcam uploader 2004 It is great value for money! Works perfectly! The program uploads to FTP servers and even has a motion detector!

Great product. It was so easy I was shocked! I installed it and it was up and running automatically.

Cheap and effective I purchased this software as it did exactly what I want, esp. xfering images across LAN to another computer. Has the basics. Only drawback is that it puts the time stamp in a black banner at the bottom of the image vs. being positionable. But for $20 I won't complain. It's a good buy.
